Farm Management

For some clients, the asset management can extend beyond the traditional stock and bond portfolios.  At Thoreson Steffes Trust Company we also have the experience and expertise to serve as the farm manager for our clients with farm or agricultural assets.  An important part of picking the right asset manager, is having the peace of mind that your asset will be taken care of.  We believe you will have that feeling with our farm manager, an Accredited Farm Manager through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.  We have over 19,000 acres of farm land under management in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

Services we provide inlcude:

-A fair farm lease rental rate negotiated.

-Farm rent collected along with bill paying.

-Paperwork orchestrated at the USDA-Farm Service Agency.

-On-site visits with the Landlord and/or Tenant, with timely annual farm inspections.

-Estimated profit and loss budget analysis synopsis completed on the parcel.
